Charity Activities

Below is a list of the charitable programs that the USS Commonwealth is involved with.

Hailing Frequencies is a program that collects used cell phones to send to U.S. service members stationed over seas so that they can stay in touch with their families.

We just began an exciting program that will help us acquire funding for our operating budget. Through the FundingFactory Recycling Program we are recycling empty printer and Toner cartridges and earning funding for operating budget. The program is FREE and easy, but it won't work without your support.

By recycling items you would normally throw away, we are earning points that we can turn into cash. Not only can we receive cash but we can also turn the points we earn in for office equipment, also we will be doing our part to help save the environment!

With over 300 million cartridges thrown away last year alone, this presents a great opportunity to our organization. Let's make this recycling program a huge success by working together to collect as many empty cartridges and toners as we can.

You can donate your cartridges and cell phones at the following locations:

Project Genesis
USS Commonwealth NCC 74670
511 Letcher Ave. Richmond, Ky. 40475

Members of our crew are actively particparting in help the Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence (SETI). We are able to do this using software from the SETI website. The Software runs in the background on your PC allowing you to continue to work on your PC while it anaylzes the data that SETI needs Anaylzed. What do you get for SETI using your computer Bragging points.

So if you want to help us out and earn some bragging points then by all means click on the SETI@HOME combadge here on this page. We have earned a total of 8,575 points thus far as of Stardate 090401.

Thank you in advance for your support!
